Drag Racer
I have been racing VW bugs since the early '80's. I started out with my street bug (1BADBUG) running mid 15's in the quarter and progressed up to running a best of 13.24 @ 97mph with it. I built my race bug (BADBUG2) and first ran it in 1994. First pass off of the trailer it ran an 11.80 @ 110mph. To date the quickest and fastest that I have run in the quarter mile with the car is 10.53 & 128mph without nitrous and 9.35 @ 145mph with nitrous.
